The other part of that is that I've found the more people I tell about what I'm trying to do, the more help and suggestions I get. Each time I explain a project idea, someone comes up with a great suggestion or opens a door that helps me move forward. E.g., getting access you wouldn't normally get or introduced to a friend of a friend who can help, that sort of thing. I've been really surprised at the opportunities that keep popping up once you commit to doing something and tell people about it.

very good point.

I need to convince one of the park rangers to let me go to the top of thier fire watch tower:)

Have we decided on a PAW theme? I think I'd like to get involved -- PAD is a little too much for my taste?

The idea is that you come up with your own PAW theme and stick to that theme for a year.

Aight, cool. I was kinda hoping to have a unified theme all the way around. But awesome; is there a place for sharing URL's for blogs?

I have this page for URL if you want to check them out: WAP participants

Added to mine (week 6): WAP-blog

Having become disillusioned with my efforts in the challenges I have found the PAW to be therapeutic and a chance to regain some discipline. It is also "eye opening" as I find that I am stopping to take shots I have seen before (without being shot at :-) as well as appreciating the commonplace in my life in a totally new way. I may even be getting better at this photography thing... maybe!

Bottom line: it is a good thing to be doing.

I've been taking theme photos each week, but I'm still behind in processing because of the computer crash I had.

My PAW week 6 is in. I got a little behind in my posting (new job). I'm caught up now and promise to continue. Here is my blog. bvlindalou

Apologies but as I was in India on business I have been unable to post to my PAW. However, I have managed to put a couple of pics up from India, which I hope you will enjoy.

Okay, 3 month check-in. :) I've noticed some PAW's have dropped by the wayside. I've updated my links and deleted some that weren't current (pretty much anything that hasn't been updated since February). I also noticed that I was missing some from folks that have been commenting so I've added a few too and also threw a few PAD's that I enjoy following.

If I've missed you and you'd like to be added, just let me know.

Keep up the great work people! :-)

I have missed a week or two but I plan to catch up soon.

Cool! I'll add ya back. I really liked your theme and how it was progressing. :)

I'm a bit behind. As i am updating my entire website, the update of my blog depends on the uploading of the new images there. But i'll get there soon.

Mine's still going, planning to post this week's shot today.

Can you post the blogspot code for your list so that I can update mine?

Mine is still going. It's either up to date, or just one week behind, I think, but close.

I'm really enjoying the photo a week format -- a lot less pressure than the challenges, and I don't have to worry about DNMC because I am the boss! So far, I've only missed one week. 8)
