Hi ya all, i just bought a 32" Light Tent and have been mucking around taking "product" photos of things. My problem is lighting, I have set up a few small bedside reading lamps on each side of the tent, but the results aren't real good. What is the best way to throw light into the tent, and what do all you pro's out there use.
Thanks for your help

have a look at the lights I used here, they are the next step up from plain desk lamps with the main advantages being the color temp (no yellow cast)and the actual temperature as in they put out very little heat

then of you start getting into proper lighting but at a cost and watch out with the heat the continuous one put out
after that come strobes which are dearer still but you don't have much problems with heat with these

I get good results with mine so you may not need to go any further

I made a tent like Firsty however I used a thin white bed sheet as a defuser. I also have the same lights which I think work pretty good. But I seem to get better results when I use 2 speed lights and 1 lamp. I have the lamp shine from the side I want the least light. I have 1 speed light on opposite side. I also have a speed light inside the tent bouncing off the top sheet. So far I have had some nice results.
