I recently uploaded 8 images to Fotolia. These images were captioned and keyworded in PS CS2 before uploading. After they were approved and went online, I realised the images had their titles and descriptions all interchanged. One image that showed a young guy disappointed, slapping his forehead is now captioned as youth happy after winning a point etc.

Problem is user cannot go into the system and edit so I emailed Fotolia. After a few days, they replied that they will "try" to make the changes for me. It has been more than a week and nothing happened.

I think the poor sales coupled with a rather unreliable web (because I get error messages each time I log in) has peeved me to the point of dropping this site.

Anyone has similar experience thus far?

fotolia is certainly not were it should be if it wants to compete with the larger player (SS, IS, DT)

Their website sometime do 'flip', also with me.

I had very poor sales (read none after 3 weeks) and canceled my account. But recently I gave them a try again because of some comments that sales aren't that bad. (maybe I had just the wrong files online)

Can't complain about their support, always have very helpfull to me.

my keywords in IS doens't show up either (I use fotostation) where I don't have a problem with SS and DT.

I mentioned FL in an article on my website which I just finished.

Have you noticed that their entire site is slow, too?

On a lighter note, a nice thing about Fotalia is that they tell you who bought your picture and sometimes an organization name.

Where do you find that info?

1) Click on "My Credits." You should see list of photos you have sold.

2) Then click on "Photo Sale" next to the sale of your choice. It should tell you the "Downloader Name" and "Downloader Society Name."
