I took a trip to Spain - was there over the weekend before the challenge started. Cool place!

Shot this at the Alhambra in Granada (souther Spain). This pic was taken three days before the challenge started.

I was so sad I couldn't enter it!

What do you think??? :)

Nice shot, but it doesn't say solitude or alone to me. It does say freedom light at the end of the tunnel, escape etc. etc.

I do have to agree with Chez, Mag...

But I love the shot itself. Very abstract and minimalistic.

sorry mag - me three - cool shot, although I'd like to see it rotated a few degrees to the left - it would do better in the shadows competition than all alone, doesn't say alone to me.

Like your pics from spain, especially enjoyed the street candids.

hmm, i thought it said, in the first person "I am alone".

no?

i see your point - almost makes me wish that notes could accompany shots, not names...but just the photographers notes.

i agree.

i think there's a tendency on this site to forget perspectives other than the 'here's what i'm showing you in the 3rd person' type.

I.e. a shot representing wealth would have to show money or goods, and not the perspective of sitting in a fancy hot tub or looking at one's BMW dashboard. . .

It feels "alone" to me. It's like entering a tunnel with a friend and looking back to see no one with you. Wouldn't you feel alone, like, hey where is everybody? But it could also go with claustrophobia...the end is so close and yet...so far away:)
