We are opening a few positions in the Site Council if anyone is interested in applying. We need users that are not only interested in helping us maintain the forums and disqualification requests but to also give input on a new feature that we will be adding to the site.
All interested should send an email to: sitecouncil[at]dpchallenge.com, with a brief description of why you think you'd be right of the "job".

Well some of these people frequent the forums and Langdon needs people to maintain the forums.
I also believe some of the people are great photographers that know what they are talking about,so they can make a fair opinion. Just look at their pictures.
Pretty sure that the current member of the counsel have learn a lot from being part of the counsel. I definitely learn a lot from them.

Not to put a sting in Faidoi's enthusiasm, nor to upset the powers-that-be, I don't think that being a great photographer or being a consistent contributor to the forums are the main, or even best, criteria for site council positions.
In the current line-up of 8, only 3 have averages of over 5.5, yet those, and the others, are doing a spot-on job in running this place.
Also, I don't really think that it is Faidoi's place to recommend others. Volunteering for this position should be a personal and private affair. Langdon specifically asked for email applications, not an appeal to public popularity.

Actually if you look at the list not everybody on the list has the highest averages (sorry didn't make links), but these are the people that usually populate the the forums and they come up with answers when newbies, amateur, and pros, bring up questions.
Langdon did ask for volunteers to maintain the forums and these are some of the people here pretty much everyday.

I don't think it would work.
John and Gordon both have their own websites now and that alone is going to be alot of work.
