Well, I pretty much own the Sigma 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 Aspherical HF for Pentax, except that I don't own it. I actually have a Sigma 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 Aspherical II for Pentax, but it's not on the list, and I would not look forward to going through all the photos on dpc that I've taken with it, just to change the lens description in photographer's notes.. It's the lens that spends most of the time attached to my camera.

Actually, all of the ones you list are the original MkI version of this lens, which I originally registered mine as since there was no MkII listed. Now there is... but with only 3 users listed. Different lens. ;o)

Doubtless there are actually several other users, who like me have mis-registered their lens in the past and now cannot be bothered to change it.

Huh, I am the only one with (submitted challenge photos) taken by an Olympus E-620. It's a good camera, I swear! It's just the operator taking sub-par pictures. ;)

I seem to have taken control of the Powershot S5 IS page. Maybe I should just toss the SLR. I seem to score highly just as well with the superzoom.

For the moment. Its still a relatively new model. You'll have competition for that page soon enough.

On a related note, as I mentioned in another thread, Photo Stores have offered to buy my used d2h for 25$!! I paid $3200 for it!! lol, so as a point of personal pride, until proven otherwise, I will be operating under the assumption that I have the LEAST valuable camera on DPC

I saw a D1H at a pawn shop for about $350 the other day. Thought I had run into a steal of a deal, until I checked the specs and found it was an older 2.7 Mp model.

lol - just keep practicing with it and you'll find the camera is soon catching up with the skilled operator ;)

I thought about the E-620 but went with the E-520 instead. Next step: E-3 or it's successor.

As for the OP, I was owning this lens - Olympus 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 ED Zuiko Digital - till I dropped it (wah)

This isn't saying a lot... at all, but before I made the switch to Canon, my Minolta lenses had a bit of a singularity on this site.

Sigma 75-200mm f/2.8-3.5 for Minolta

Sigma 170-500mm f/5-6.3 APO Aspherical for Minolta

Sigma 14mm f/2.8 EX Aspherical for Minolta

Konica Minolta AF 24mm f/2.8

Konica Minolta AF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5

As you can tell by the scores, most of the shots didn't do so well, but I hope the shots represent the lenses well.

I was just pretty excited about "owning" the D300s soon, but then saw who I was up against. Something tells me jdannels is going to put up a fight.

I don't own either the D70s or the 18-200 VR, but I'm pretty happy just to have one image apiece on the page since both have over 1100 & 1000 owners respectively.

Just realised I own the [url=//www.dpchallenge.com/lens.php?LENS_ID=1342
Nikon AF-S Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 VR[/url], pleased!

I own this camera, Canon Digital IXUS 50 (which isn't that difficult since not many people have ever used it...), and I own this lens, Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G (with a more respectable score).

Since I've got another image on the front page of that lens, and tate has three images up there, I guess our DPL team, imagenation, OWNS that lens :-)

I think I own this one with three of the top five including 1st and 2nd and it looks like I have held it for a long time.

I also "own" the Leica D-Lux 4. :)
05/04/2010 05:47:37 AM · #193
And by golly... I also "own" the Hasselblad H3DII-50. I'm also the only person that used one on DPC :) It was rented though so I don't own it otherwise.

The Canon SD700. My wife and I have 8 of the top 10.

Yeah, Johnny come lately! I owned that one for over a year :)

I have 13 of the top 18 images of this lens. Does that mean it is mine?

I have absolutely no doubt! I bet you'll have it good time before the Ozzie winter is over.
