I'm sure we've all entered photos that did not quite meet the challenge. Share yours here.

I entered this in the "Magic & Mystery" challenge. I knew when I entered it it was a stretch and I guess the voters knew that too.

Scored a 3.9 and missed the brown ribbon by one place with this shot:

I guess extreme inaction isn't a valid take on "Extreme Action", huh? jejeje™

Kinda funny, my laptop is calib. and I can see dark navy blue, I'm on my down stars computer which I hardly every use, its the family computer. It has no blue in it, all I see is black. So I can't complain. Goes to show different monitors can have an effect on your scoring.

edit; if you want to see a real bell curve voting pattern, look at how the voters voted......lol

I've got a few DMNCs but this is the biggest flop, since I entered it in the WRONG challenge.

I saw abstract "Hands" in this entry for "Hands", but the voters weren't drinking what we were that night! If only I'd have titled it, "ET - Phone Home!".

My entry for CityLife II didn't have big buildings, lots of people or traffic in it so didn't fit the standard idea of "city" for a lot of people.

I only read the challenge title on this one. Every book I've ever seen on Where's Waldo had a bunch of people, with only 1 being Waldo.

Challenge: Heat
Place: 156 out of 158
Avg: 4.3889

HA! I was so happy that I got the shot that I was convinced I could shoehorn it into the challenge. Live and learn... ;-)

I think I might be the worst offender, yet in some ways these images do meet the challenge. lol I may even have more. Laughs even louder.

I really did have a connection with Adulthood in this shot, but it was not apparent enough. My second lowest score ever.

It's Black and White (subject) in Color (background)! Just not the way the voters interpreted it...

This was my entry for "Stupid, Stupid!"

My entry for Duotones II:

Good Morning!

One commenter stated it wasn't a Duotone (it is) and it was so radical I expect many people didn't think it was a duotone, but didn't comment.

Ummmm, you got 5th place, how can that be DNMC????? By the way, I remember that photo because I gave it a 10 and added it to my favourites during the challenge. I love it.
