I can't stand price stickers to be left on anything I buy ... even groceries. I get home and start peeling them off the cans, bottles, everything as I put my groceries away.

so what's yours?

It drives me absolutely nuts to see a cupboard or drawer left open. Even for a second. I will go way out of my way to shut one, even if, say, Sheila is using for example the can opener, and plans to put it right back in the drawer....I will shut it.

I hate fingerprints on monitor screens! :)

In school I would get super weird about note taking. The paper had to be the same type if I bought new paper and I had to write the date and titles and even organize the bullets the same way for each class.

Also I have a weird thing about nails. Long nails on guys, long toenails, not clipping your nails over a garbage can or paper towel makes my skin crawl!

I agree totally about the fingerprints. Whenever my wife is showing someone something on the screen she always points at and touches the screen, sometimes even sliding her finger across the screen. Drives me mad.

These are more quirks than obsessions...

I am afraid of hard lotion. You know...the when lotion gets dried up on the end of a lotion bottle pump? I will not touch it. Gives me the willies!

I cannot stand to have my belly button touched.

I love putting raisins in chili. (A pregnancy craving that never went away)

I will sweep and mop a dirty floor but leave a sink/counter full of dishes. Dirty counters don't drive me NEARLY as nuts as a dirty floor.

When changing toilet paper rolls, I have to put it so that it comes off the front of the roll rather than at the back. Toilet etiquette 101.

I hate cupboard doors and drawers not fully closed.

I can't look at poeple with hair in their ears or nose.

I can't stand having lotion on my hands -aargh, even thinking of it is a pain, give me a towel!

Paintings/photographs not hanging level on a wall. I can't help myself. The need to staighten them is too great.

another of my obsessions is fold lines or wrinkles in shirts - any shirts. I can't stand them. I hang every shirt I have - even t-shirts. I take the hangers with me as I unload the dryer. The best way is to get them out before the dryer cycle ends. You open the door, snag one shirt, shut the door and restart the dryer. This way you can get the one shirt hung and not have the others cooling off on a counter getting wrinkles.

Those light switches where two switches control one light: both switches must be in the off position if the light is off and the on position if the light is on, and I'll walk through the house in the dark to make it so if I have to.

LOL Yours got me. Now I have a thousand "quirks" but.... I too HATE the hard lump of lotion. I'll throw a bottle away before I put that lump in my hands.

Belly button... HUGE NO NO! Drives me nuts and NOT in a good way, just don't!

And counters MUST be clean... spotless and NO appliances out... but floors can go unswept for a few days. heheeee

Bad toupees, Mullet haircuts, bad hair...BIG hair, COMB-OVERS, drive me completely nuts...bum me out, bigtime. I almost feel compelled to tell these offenders about ALL the websites that make total fun of them so they'll hopefully visit the site and change their evil ways.

Honestly, they don't drive me nuts but they do annoy me and I would never point them to a site that mocks them. Even though I probably should.

And WTF's up with Donald Trumps hair? Please explain that one to me...please!

BTW myself and a group of 8 friends obsessed for weeks over Mullet cuts after discovering MulletsGalore.com. It was one of the funniest sites ever on the internet imo.

I HAVE to drink at least 1 Coke per day. I loved Vanilla Coke, but those horrible horrible people at Coca-Cola have stopped making it for some reason.

Also, whenever I'm not in a good mood, I cook. I make a cheesecake that will make you run over your mother for the last piece. My other food is pretty good too. :)

I have this weird thing about mail.....like when we send out Christmas cards, I really *really* want to have all the stamps evenly spaced from the corner. And when I get one on crooked, or if it goes over the edge (God forbid!) I just get so disappointed!

But possibly even worse than that is any time I encounter folded paper. When we made programs for our wedding, it took me ages to fold them. Each one must be PERFECTLY folded in half, without any one side hanging out over the other. I hate and detest crooked folds...icky icky!

All this is weird, cause I'm really laid back about nearly everything else in life.

Mine is similiar. A light switch must be in the down position when the lights are off, and up when they are on. I have re-wired switches in my house to fix this.

Things on the table in front of me (esp. bottles) must always be placed so that the labels are facing me perfectly. I will even fix other people's bottles when they aren't looking.
