| don't expect less.. this is a tricky business. I have not entered a challenge for a long time- intimidated by negative comments. Now.... being an experienced DPC'er , I don't give a rat's ass. I know when i have a good photo, and just want to hear what others might think... |

Very nice first entry score. You'll find that you'll probably get better comments and critiques if you ask AFTER the challenge in a thread specifically requesting such. In the mean time, welcome to the addiction and enjoy the ride! |

Last challenge I entered I was ahead of most everyone in total votes too and my score dropped over .13 at the changeover. Not only did I miss a 7 but I failed to balance my profile page between color and B&W images. :(

Turned my scores off. Just making me bad today. started at 6.57 with 60 or more votes. at 92 votes 6.35, including drops such as 6.40 to 6.35 in 2 votes.
I know it's still a good score, but I had 6.5-7.0 hopes on this one and now I'm underperforming...

My score's currently about 4.6, though I will say I didn't expect it to do well. However, I've had a DQ request, so once it's been validated, the score is sure to go up:)

I have just recently returned to the site after some time... Am I currently scoring low because I am not a part of a team? Isn't the team concept cheating?

I hope this is'nt the case, but often wonder with some photos scoring so high in several challenges........
That would tarnish DPC IMHO...

Umm the team thing isnt even ongoing at this point, so I doubt very seriously any cheating would be going on since there isnt even a WPL thing going on. Low scoring is just low scoring. People obviously arent getting your shots.
