ugh. Sounds uhm, dull, but who knows, I'll give it a go.

Edited: Thought about it.... naked woman on railroad tracks, at sunset, with a daisy and two babies.... it could work!! Oooooooh add rainbow! :)

Ha, it wasn't two weeks ago when I was running the marathon that I ran past something and said, "well, if there is ever a 'trains' challenge, I'll have to keep this in mind..."

Oh man, there's a great railyard here that catches the sunset, the highway goes right over it. And there's no sidewalk. So I guess this means I need to find someone willing to drive back and forth over it while I hang out the back window...

This is scary - I already have an idea. If the weather cooperates I'll have a lot of fun with this one.

No trains within several hours drive from here - looks like the thomas the tank engine set might be called into action this week.

"You know your addicted to photography if..." #402: ...while running a marathon you notice potential photo shots and are able to make mental composition notes while others are just trying to breath and not pass out. lol

I actually suggested this challenge hoping I'd still be in the US and able to shoot the trains I know in the area but now that I'm in Okinawa I have to find a new location for the shoot...dang it.

ROFL - I thought of a couple doing it in a boxcar. I need models.

ooer. Plenty of opportunity to encourage wanton lawbreaking for this challenge with photogs cutting their way onto railway lines the world over to get that ellusive ribbon.

Interesting.

AAARGH! Guess what I've been shooting saturday... And if I enter one of the shots in in Free Study, it will be hammered cause people can't see railroads any more

As part of my travels to the Amsterdam GTG this week I will be spending approximately 7 hours on a train and about 3 hours hanging around in railway stations.

I wonder if they will ever post a challenge I can participate in? :-P

I'm sure that would score well - especially if the train track is in Iceland!

A language question .... is the subway or metro ok? I will of course include naked lady, sunset, rainbow and a rosebud. No, correction: THE Rosebud.

I am SOOOO far from any railroad track or train... kind of like those bridge challenges... I will have to use my creativity to join the crowd on this on.

I hope I have time this week for setting up the shot:)

YES. I wouldn't wanna have to vote through only locomotive trains! That'd be too repetitive IMHO

it didn't say "no toy trains" lol... but be prepared to get hammered with toys. They naturally dont score very well with the DPC crowd

Unless the toy train track is running over a nekkid model....and the train is going "I think I can, I think I can!!!!!"

And Crayon in the background going...."I know I can, I know I can!!!!!"
