Yeah. Some of them are hardly oxymorons at all, just random words strung together.

I hope when people take on this challenge they actually stage proper oxymorons.

Can't wait to see 'HEAD BUTT' ;-)

Yeah I didn't even get past the B's since there's so many perceived/joke oxymorons rather than true oxymorons.

The wikipedia info on oxymoron is rather a nice reference, its much shorter but it does point out the differences between true, perceived and joke oxymorons.

Here's the wiki oxymoron info link if anyone feels the urge to peruse it.

The ones I can think of will be tough to create so I may stick with Lighting III. Heh.

I wonder if the voters are going to be as cruel as can be! :-)
I guess there are going to be a lot of comments saying that the oxymoron isn't obvious without the Title.

I've got 2 ideas...not sure how one will be taken...as I had to explain it to a co-worker.

I think that this is a case where the Title should be viewed in order to see the oxymoron.

Oh they'll make an exception if it's a landscape shot. :P

Yikes, this sounds harder than I thought. But with my love of images that are often pegged "too dark," maybe Lighting III isn't the way to go either!!! ;~p

Maybe we should start a poll on how many "military intelligence" photos will be submitted :) I've got 7!

I will certainly be putting my oxymoron in the title. If people don't like that.. well, they can vote me down can't they, as they probably would anyway ;)

Does it say anywhere you can't use your oxymoron as the title of your photo? or are people just saying if you do then the voters will feel you immediately deserve to get marked down??

I don't think so - just that the idea should really be expressed by the photo, and shouldn't require the title.
