I'm usually on a Sony Trinitron E210 Multiscan 17" at 1152 x 864 ... I sometimes go to 1280 x 1054 if I'm just looking at pictures, but at that setting type is too uncomfortably small to read.

I use a Dell 20" widescreen. And my Dell laptop which is a 1920x1600 resolution monitor.

For what it's worth I use a LG Flatron L1710B flat thingy.

I did try on my laptop at one point, but the rendering of the photos is absolutely terrible and I'd have given everything a 3. The moral is - some screens can be really poor.
