Once again I want to learn from the elite of DPChallenge... You have been most helpful with regard to the cameras you use. Would you, also, be kind enough to state for the record the exact monitor you use while editting photos for DPChallenge.
There is a great difference between my desktop monitor (where I edit) and my wife's laptop (where I check work & send in.) When I upgrade my computer system, I will feel safe if 10x of this or 5x of that monitor shows up belonging to Site Council & consistent Top 25 Finishers. Thanks in advance for your help! :)

I'm not elite but I use a 19 inch hitachi CRT.

Laptop screens (and most LCD's) have garbage resolution and aren't suitable for editing. Your photos will look sharp on those when they really aren't.

Acer AL1716. I did notice when I used my parents laptop (Dell Inspiron 6000) that a bunch of my photos looked bad all of a sudden (you could see stuff I couldn't see on this monitor)

unfortunately I use 2 15" lcds. I wish I had a larger screen to work on but these were free so I can't complain about that. One is Dell and the other is Planar.

Well, as one of the bottom 25 finishers I always use a ViewSonic VP930V 19 inch LCD, 1280x1024 primary, and a NEC multiSync LCD 1560V 1024x768 for my pallets, menus and such. Oh....... you said the consistent Top 25 Finishers.
Never mind.
