Could someone please send me some energy and inspiration?

Haven't touched my camera for almost 2 weeks, and that feels like.. well.. you know. It just sucks. Autumn is coming, I feel shitty and tired.

BLUGH!

Sorry.

Get naked and run thru the streets with your camera taking pictures of people looking at you.

Just away those leaves, walk away from and any household chores like and for starters.

Then pack up your and take a drive. Find a road you haven't been on before. See where it takes you and even venture out of the box: (Oh - don't forget to before leaving)

Then know that there are lots of here waiting to see you come back after finding something new.

Hey beauty,

I suggest you sit on the toilet backwards next time you have to go.. its a little odd.. but I promise you'll be giggling....

also... Twirling is good for the soul... spread your arms wide just like when you were a child..and twirl till you get dizzy...

It may not take away the blughs....... but i promise it'll help for the moment ;)~

~hugs~

Let's send her on a (clothed) photo scavenger hunt!

1) A dog on a leash.
2) A red leaf, preferrably still attached to the tree.
3) A garage door with at least one window in it.
4) A couple holding hands.
5) A taxi, bus or train used for public transportation.
6) A stone figurine/statue in public.
7) A coffee shop.
8) A person inside the coffee shop.
9) A red flower,
and last but not least,
10) A smiling self-portrait.

I'll just do nr. 10.

Maybe not smiling, but I just want to do something. Facing my emotions always helps me taking everything in perspective. Well, most of the time it does.

Thanks guys.

Well if it's any consolation, I haven't touched my camera since August 27, 2006!!!!

No. 10 - it's a start at least.

But will still have 9 more items to complete - you aren't getting off the hook that easy!
Ever see how fast a guestbook and an inbox can fill up with nonsense?? Huh? Huh?

You need a new series....you did feet....it's time for HANDS! And it is easy to get started....you got some of your own....and a timer I hope! LOL! Just an idea.

That said, when I get totally board, have no new flowers and cannot or do not want to get out to get more....I just get my macro lens and open up drawers or cabinets or boxes or refrigerators and shoot macro abstracts....you need one of those soon....so get to work, super chick!

Might I suggest, Han, after doing all of the wonderful things that the others have recommended that you change your mind and attend the Amsterdam GTG?

I wasn't sure that I would be going as I was/am absolutely knackered (English slang for very tired indeed) but have now booked the train (Eurostar to Brussels then internal to Amsterdam), set the dates (out on the Thursday, return on the Monday) and have now got all of the guide books (you know, the things you buy, read once and then decide are too heavy to carry and anyhow the guy in the pub told you of the great place you ought to go to tomorrow so who needs a book anyhow). Just need to book a hotel and master Dutch (the language and not the degenerative throat disorder) in the next four weeks. Oh - and learn the difference between a coffee house and a place where you drink coffee...

Why did I decide to go feeling the way I did/do? Because it is exactly the last thing I wanted to do so... time to go do it!

Besides, I love trying different ways to travel and I do have a new camera and lenses that are begging to be taken out and allowed to do their thing. And then there are the people I will meet when I am there - always a darn good reason to do something different.

So, be there or upset me as well!

(OK - forget the emotional blackmail at the end there - but it would be good to see you again and I know others feel the same way).

Failing that, why not colour your hair again and take another dazzling picture of yourself? Less interesting than the GTG but probably cheaper and with less exposure to the madness of the international photogs!
