You gotta have your picture posted somewhere on the web to link us to it; we can't read your computer...

4. use paint bucket tool (choose blue color and paint)
5. use Brush tool finish left.
6. change curves like "S"

OK, here ya go:

Select the sky as you did on your own. Make a new, empty layer and set it to multiply mode. Choose the gradient tool, find the gradient presets upper left above the window and locate "foreground to transparent" gradient. Click the color picker for foreground color and choose a nice blue, darker than you think you need.

With the empty layer active and the sky selected, draw straight down with the gradient tool from the top to the bottom of the sky. Then use hue/sat to fine-tune the color of the blue and fade layer witht he gradient on it to fine-tune its intensity.

That's all I did, took 30 seconds. But I already have that particular gradient set as my default, so I don't have to look for it.

I love the weave effect. How did you do it?

In Kansas, this edit will get you DQ'd.

The weave effect is one of Jasc Paintshop Pro's out-of-the-can effects. Probably repulsive to many but I find it quirky... ;-)

It always bums me out when the oP doesn't bother to keep tabs on a thread like this, sigh...
