I wasn't in a position to get a good shot of this morning sky (not *this mornings* sky, but the morning this was taken on) - damned houses getting in the way!

I loved the sky so much and it only lasted for a few seconds that I thought I'd share even thought it's a nothing special photo.

Great as always!
You didn't fall in the water after photographing that frog did you?

I love the b&w portrait (Oksana) in your last post, the lighting and the eyes are fantastic.

Pedro, that is awsome. I dont mind people messing with my photos. It helps me learn alot. Just as long as you let me know what you did. Thanks, Aubrey......... Please check out my Brothers Photo Galleries JD Anderson

not much at all really (and this was about a 10 second edit, so it's far from perfect - just a concept i guess)

1. I cropped to get the sun out of the centre of the frame I'm sure this has something to do with the rule of thirds, but since i don't really follow rules, I just did what i thought made sense. I also cut off a bit of the foreground (the bottom of the pic) to add some presence to the already imposing sky.

2. cloned out the streetlights, the fence and the building on the right using photoshop (again it was a really quick choppy job, you could do a much better job given a bit of time)

3. added a border with colour to balance the image as a whole (so it wasn't just a bright spot ona dark canvas (again, there's maybe a rule here, but i don't know it)

4. blurred the edits, then sharpened a little with unsharp mask to blend it all together.

that's about it. you can't make a bad picture good with edits...you can only make a good picture better. there's lots to work with here...go have fun.

You are great!

I sure would not want to be following behind you on a country road. If I were I would hope to be 20-30 car lengths behind you :)

LOL

Great work as always.

You might also want to be at least 20-30 car lengths in FRONT of ME ...
