Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM

Ok, so I did decide to plan this, with a little help from

sea2c.

Who: Anyone who can make it out with a camera.

What: To watch and learn and to meet people with the common interest of photography!

When: September 23

Where: Start off at the Zoo in the morning, once done there we then head towards downtown and end up at Shaw Millennium Park (skateboard park).

How: C-Train entrance, pay, go in, over the bridge, wait on that side where the hippos, boars etc are.

Hope we have a good turnout!

Hi there,

Zoo is a pretty large place, any particular place at the zoo to meet? Someplace where people can take pictures while waiting is ideal, ie Destination africa bird area. (not sure which company sponsered it) but where the gorilla are.

We'll just have LER stand on the bridge going into the zoo with a big DPC sign and singing animal songs. Can't miss him.

Well, I'm glad you're lovin' it, but I've actually traded it away for something that I'll find a little more useful to me.

Sorry dude. Enjoy it while you can. And btw, I'm out for lunch so anytime this afternoon is just fine.

You'll have to show me what you did with the lens. Did you get something into the free study? I just missed it. Had to work way too late.

GO TOO THE STAMPEDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Their rodeo is amazing. You'll definately get some good ones (bull rideing, etc.)

I can make it on any of them.

LER, maybe go through the users list and search on "Calgary" and email anyone that's been active in the past 3-6 months and invite them.

Thanks for the heads-up on this LERtastic. I wouldn't be able to make it on the 30th, but I may be interested in one of the other dates. I'm not overly keen on another zoo trip, so maybe I'll join further along. I'll watch the thread. Pedro and Ivo might be up for this, too.

I'd be up for a meet. Should be cool and I'm sure I could learn a thing or two from all you guys and girls. Just let me know what Saturday you're thinking and hopefully I can make it. I can't really say whats open for me for sure since I might be helping my brother film a movie one of these upcoming saturdays and that hasn't be finalized yet... I love last minute planning.
