ca-(pa)(pv) ??
if I interpreted that correctly? This doesn't work. It gives me a number lower than the current average, which went up. Not possible.

At least you're above the water line. ;o)

Ya, I'm not complaining. Slow and steady wins the race, right? I know I don't have a ribbon contender. I'd love a 6.5, but likely will get somewhere around where I am now.

I know what you mean. Someone just gave me a 5, freak'n 5! Oh well, so much for that 7 score. :P

First three votes = 6.000 each - then a 3. (sheesh)

no, the number of votes is different for each side of the minus sign.

example:

current avg = 6 with 4 votes
previous avg = 5 with 3 votes

(6 * 4) - (5 * 3) = 24 - 15 = 9 (latest vote is a 9 in the example)

edit: of course if the number of votes didn't change then someone's just playing with their score

I figured it out after the fact, the multiplication symbols being different threw me off.

ca(cv)-pa(pv)=last vote received

It just occurred to me... this free study is a true DDOS attack on dpc :-)

still sitting on 6.0 after 4 votes. Waiting for it to go down.

Ones and twos.... Here's what I've received so far:

7,6,6,7,5,2 (edit: Make that 7,6,6,7,5,2,3 now)

So is that 2 voter out in left field or what?

Dang that looks suspicious. Especially with the recent occurrences of multiple accounts on this site.

Same here, some good numbers, some bad numbers and after a couple of 7s a 1 really hurts when you've only gotten 10 votes. Deal is, you have to see what 400 voters think, not 10 - it will be a long week. :)

I think it's even more suspicious the range of people and talent getting so many 1's ... all at once.
