ImageManager:

Is anyone as frustrated at this program as I am? Please tell me I'm doing something wrong.

You can batch upload, yes. But to get the files from your hard drive to the program, you have to select them one by one from a little file chooser window that has no thumbnails, just filenames. You cannot drag and drop into the program. So, I have to open a My Computer window to see the thumbnails so I know what I'm sending over to the program.

I do the keywording in PS, so that's not an issue. However, I find that the categorizing part is a bit tedious.

If you can drag and drop files from your hard drive into the uploader program, it would make the program a LOT better. I haven't gotten this far yet, but I wonder if, when I get a lot of programs in there, if I can batch categorize them. Shutterstock is a lot easier to deal with as far as uploading your pics. Is there some reason IStock doesn't use FTP?

People at iStock would probably be able to answer your questions without having to worry about speculative answers.

Thanks Pidge.

I would ask over there, but they seem pretty snippity when it comes to the software from what I've read of their 40 or so pages of "our program kicks ass" IManager thread. I knew I'd get better answers here.
