I just had a flash back to my school days when I did a project for English where we took a quote from one of Shakespears plays and created a collage. We chose 'Look to the lady'. You can imagine the result. I don't think that's what the teacher had in mind.

Back to the challenge idea. Pick a quote from one of shakespears plays or poems and photograph your interpretation of it.

Great idea

One of my faves and one for the landscape sunset photographers

"This most excellent canopy, the air, look you,
this brave o'erhanging firmament,
this majestical roof fretted with golden fire"

For some reason, I see a photo of two bees or two B's or not 2 bees taking the ribbon.

So, so, thou common dog, didst thou disgorge
Thy glutton bosom of the royal Richard;
And now thou wouldst eat thy dead vomit up,
And howl'st to find it.

The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune might provide a more dynamic composition.

I like this one from Macbeth...and I can imagine some of the images that could go with it...pretty grim and intense.

Great challenge suggestion!

"Will cheer me ever or disseat me now. I have lived long enougth. My way of life is fall'n into the sere, the yellow leaf..."

"Life it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying NOTHING"

This is profound. It's really idiotic to see the meaning (story-sound/fury = fiction = NOTHING) and miss out the (experiance) actual life. This is my favorite qoute.

This was used in "matrix" also -

"What does this mean?"
"It means everybody falls the first time"
(another)"It does not MEAN ANYTHING."

"I am eight times thrust through the doublet, four through the hose; my buckler cut through and through; my sword hacked like a hand-saw--ecce signum! ..."
