I like this pitcher. I like it a lot. It should have won.

Ah yes. I like that one a lot too. I should have listed it in my own thread. It was robbed.

Start a new thread, call it part 2, and put in in that! :P

This is a fine picture. I like how the truck is so clean and crisp yet the surroundings are faded. Way cool!

Who ever gave those 4 ones to that photo has to be expelled from the town with tar and feathers! LOL

I give it 10 and is really excellent shot!

This is about the Chitty Chitty Bling Bling pic, right?

I don't like the background surroundings and the toning is boring. I would have liked to see the people in the car better and less glare on the car surface (polarizer). Gave it a 6.

That's no reason for me to score it differently.

Says in the description it's a neighbours car so I expect the shot was set up :)

I too gave this picture my only 10 for the challenge. I felt that the only distinguishing feature from that photo and a vintage photo from the actual era was the lady wearing the modern sun glasses.

Although this is my neighbor’s car, the shot was not staged. In fact I wasn’t thinking of the challenge when I took it. It was just a goofy family shot. My neighbor had been promising to take my kids for a ride. By the time I went outside, they were just coming back up the road. I had just enough time to get 2 or 3 shots. It wasn’t until later that night that it dawned on me. I could use this for nostalgia! I almost skipped this challenge because I didn’t think this shot was good enough. The car and road kind of leaned to one side so I had to rotate the picture, which made the building in the background lean instead. I did like the sunlight on the trees behind it though. Some people apparently thought I tweaked the background in PS. I guess that’s why it was recommended for disqualification. Oh well, thanks for everyone’s comments.

It's a WONDERFUL photo and I don't find the tone boring at all. A 10 all day long. You know how voters can be...sometimes...well they suck :)
GREAT photo !

Setzler, absoulutely! I LOVE that picture it's great. I didn't vote in this challenge but would have given it an 8, maybe a 9. I love old cars and the focus on the car in this shot is perfect. The sepia is pretty good also. The faces of the people in the car and surroundings give another "bonus" to the image.
