Alright I want some links to stock sites, macro & micro, as well as one that accept scanned film.

I will use your link to sign up if you include what size pictures each site you tell me about uses, so I can figure out which ones my little Point and Shoot is allowed at.

Okay, refer away!

Ok, sure.
I've had a little success at shutterstock (micro).
They require 2.5 Megapixels minimum.

(edit)Sorry 'bout the link. Too slow anyway!

Trying again on the link here.

Ooh, Ooh, pick me! ;)

I like Shutterstock. I have only about 10 images up, but have made about $45. I need to get to $75 to get a payout. My referal is in my sig...

I have about four stock sites. Shutterstock sold the most for me so far, so I removed most of my images from the others.

More info:

imagevortex: interesting (good) set-your-own pricing model. Sales seem to be nonexistant -- at least for me with my seven images there.

dreamstime: might work for others, I sold very little there compared to shutterstock. However, I only have two left there.

iStockPhoto: this would be my second microstock choice to Shutterstock.

Sorry. It was 2.5 when I joined. The updated paragraph from their FAQ does state (at the end) 4MP.

"Photos must be at least 2.5MP (2.5 Million Pixels). To determine the amount of pixels in a photo, multiply the width by the length. For example: a photo which is 2400x1800 adds up to a total of 4.32 million pixels - a photo of this size is valid - however, a photo which is 1000x1600 adds up to a total of 1.6 million pixels which is smaller than our minimum size requirement. Photos must also adhere to our Content Guidelines or they will be denied entry into the system. The size requirement for new photographers is 4.0MP at this time."

There are many but you'll get the vast majority of your sales from just three.

Shutterstock
Istock
Dreamstime

The other sites just trickle along.

I'm looking into signing up at folotia, dreamstime, 123royaltyfree, canstockphoto, etc, if when I look them up their minimum sizes are below 3.2, so if anyone wants me to use their referal, speak up.

It looks like fotolia has a 2MP minimum. I don't know if thats for their free images section or for the general catalog of images. I posted a few there to check it out, but ended up focusing on shutterstock.

Fotolia - 1600x1200 (2MP) - Very, very slow sales
Dreamstime - 2000x1500 (3MP) - Decent sales
123RF - 4MP - Very slow sales
Canstock - 2000x1500 (3MP) - No Sales

All of the sites I belong to have images from my 3 megapixel camera.

Thanks. Soon you will have your dSLR with the money earned :) Only did it with 143 images on SS, Less then 30 from dreamstime, less the 20 from the other sites. The key is hitting as many sites as you can.
