Are you using it with the little rubber piece inside? That's kind of funny, cause I have to practically jam it onto my 420 it's so tight.

Sounds like you're all fonged up to me...

I don't have a problem with my Lightsphere staying on my 420ex I find though that it's quite heavy and it makes the flash flop down sometimes when it's facing up! But maybe you could try to wrap some tape around the top of the flash head to make it a little thicker! Duct tape perhaps?

mine doesn't fall off - but then I also have Velcro attached to mine from the omni bounce. The Velcro strips really make the lightsphere fit on nice and snug. I do get the same problem though as Makka - having the flash flop down from an upright angle from time to time.

not quite the same flash, but i've had the same problems (both the falling and the flopping) on both my sb-600 and sb-800...

I got two small pieces of velcro and put them on either side of the flash and lightsphere. It goes on and off easily and with the velcro it never falls off.

Give it a try ; )

so your Fong can't keep it up but at least it stays on.

I will give the velcro thing a try!

I also have a problem with a floppy Fong that likes to flop over ;)

Am I the only one who had to stop reading several times to clear unwanted images from my mind? ;)

Punch the floppy fong and run away!!! That will teach the fong a lesson for falling off when I need it the most!

I fail to find falling or floppy fongs funny, even on friday.
It's a fallacy.

I think we need a picture of that!

I've run a piece of double sided tape inside mine. Need to replace it often but it works. It's embarrassing to have your fong go rolling across the room.

Mine is not a Floppy Fong but my Flipping Flash de-Fusser Fell Front First into a Foam Filled pond Full of Fish a Few days ago. I Followed it to the First steps and Fortunately was able to Firmly Feel and Fetch the Formable Fixture From it's Flirt with Fate. I was Fortunate to be able to Finally realize that Fixing it Firmly to the Front of the Flash is something a Fhotographer should Find important. Velcro sounds like a Fine Fix to this Failure to stay Fastened Firmly.
