I heard this damned Irish song last sunday. Since then It's been in my mind day and night. I'm so desperate that I finally opened bottle of vodka (shame on me!)... Hoping this tune will leave me alone.

Anyway the song goes like this: =)

"And it's no, nay, never,
No nay never no more,
Will I play the wild rover
No never no more."

The Wild Rover

Love that song. I used to run an Irish pub and customers demanded that the musicians sing that song every night.

Listen to songs from "Winnie the Pooh" (or just about any Disney kids' song for that matter).

The "Heffalumps and Woozles" song generally works pretty good to get other songs out of your head...

....of course, at that point you're kinda stuck with Heffalumps... :)

This is guaranteed to get any tune out of your head - works everytime... you ready.....

Its a small world after all, its a small world after all, its a small world after all, its a small small world

The downside... you'll now sing that one for a month! :P

I GUARANTEE this will replace EVERYthing in your head; random song lines, grocery lists, your children's names, today's date... EVERYTHING!

Try it :)

Look for a "real" poem you like, something by Frost for example, and set out to memorize the poem. By the time you have the poem to heart, the song should be gone.

Yikes, why did I read this thread - it took years to get this silly jingle out of my head after a trip to Disney Land and going through this ride and listening to the song for such a long time.

NOW - it's back in my head!!

Sing the Itchy & Scratchy theme song (from The Simpsons), 10 times over.

My daughter was given that wee bit of advice by her drama teacher. It DOES work, believe me.
