Sorry guys... but i'm kinda tired to keep getting between 4.9 and 5.6. I can't get over that !!! even with the advice I had... Am I too artistic ( I mean in the "wannabe artistic" way ) or just in lack of something.

Any other advice are appreciated... !!!

I agree completely.
Last year was ribbon after ribbon, this year, one.
I like this year far better though.

Put on Enya's "Drifting" off the Amarantine CD, let the bass Cello pierce your soul, and find your zone.

Dibs - means I get first crack at grabbing it.

Recently in last two challenges, i scored around 4.7. One of the enteries I was expecting would do better. But it did not.
Its all part of dpc life. Scoring 5 does not say that your photo was bad. Here scoring 5 means your photo might be very good, but voters think it
1. did not suit the challenge description
2. They see some better photos in the challenge so they gie you average scores.

But think about it, if someone else took a shot which was considered better thann your, it does not say that yours shot was bad.
So just enjoy.

Hi there Sebastien,

I think your work is very nice and interesting. Hopefully, none of us are tying our identity into DPC. However, it is fun to create an image that gets rave reviews from the voters.

If this is your goal; I suggest that you get heavily involved in the comment exchange. Comments have really helped me to guide my images in the direction of voter approval. I still do my own stuff (just for me); but the comments I've received have been invaluable in helping me improve.

Don't be disheartened. DPC is a great place!
