Everyday I check this thread for new info, but have yet to post as to avoid unnecessary bumpage. Every single time I saw this thread on the main page with new posts I checked it thinking there might be new info, heh.

I don't know ya, and even I've been thinking about you and looking for you everyday. I can finally stop looking for a silver Honda EEL in Oregon!

Glad you're okay.

=)

Dear Steve,

Thank goodness you are safe, I've been reading this thread several times a day to check and see if you were okay.

I hope you don't feel overwhelmed with all this attention and so much outpouring of friendship. We were all worried about you very much.

I am glad to hear this good news that Steve was found safe and sound!!!

This is very wonderful news to hear - for his family that is just so happy to have him back and the concerned community here at DPC. There has been one big collective sigh of relief from everyone.

Welcome home Steve!

I've been a silent watcher too & this has got to be the best ending ever! My thoughts & prayers go out to you & your family to have perservered through this ordeal! Glad you made it home!

So happy to hear that he is safe! It's a horrible thing when a family & friends have to wait to "see". Glad it turned for the best :)

Just an idea, but has anyone thought to contact all the people we've asked to post missing posters and stuff telling them he's been found? just so they don't keep thinking he's still missing....

I contacted the places i had posted too, plus checked a few that had put it in their forums too, and they all have been posted to that he was found.

Just making sure, since I'm sure it could have been easily forgotten in the happiness of the moment.

You should be proud. I for one am happy as heck for Steve and all of you. When it comes down to it, this search beat some pretty long shot odds. That's just statistics for "the missing"

Thank you very much for breaking down Steve, and Welcome Home. You brought HOPE to a great deal of families watching, and if anything, they needed it.

A very fortunate man he is to be part of this group, you were loved and missed man :)

Well said.

By the way. You CAN become a part of this family without buying a camera. We welcome input and conversation from everyone, regardless of whether or not they actually take the photos. Thanks for your contribution; and please stick around!

And again...Welcome back Steve! We made lemonaid!

Such great news! Welcome back Steve!

And a word of appreciation for everybody who was actively and passively involved in helping to try to trace him. What a great group of people DPC'ers are.

I would like to publicly and personally thank God for answering so many of our prayers. I know a lot of us including myself have been praying for Steve’s return. I am at awe and humbled how He can bring a large amount of diverse people together and let us all put our differences aside to come to a common goal; finding Steve.

Let’s continue to keep Steve and his family in our prayers because we don’t know the extent of his disappearance and the family has asked us to hold off on the questions at this time. They will update us as soon as they feel it is appropriate.

Steve If you see this post, look up and thank God then look around at all the friends and family you have to loves you. Not only as a photographer but also as a person.

I just want to say as a part of the TAP billiards community, it is great to see that so many people can come together to help, even some of you that have never "met" Steve. He is a very lucky man to have so many friends.

I would also like to say as someone who watched from the sidelines, I am very happy that he is home and safe with his family.

Welcome home Steve.

Thank you all for your well wishes and positive energy!

Wow... this is long discussion! It will take a long, long time to review all of it. Taking into account matching the discussion topic, technical excellence, creativity, drama and "Wow" factor I'd say this discussion is a 10!

People and their talents, energy, personality and creativity are what makes DPC what it is. I see there have been some spirited exchanges. :) That only proves this is a true family, exchanges happen when there is deep concerns expressed under extraordinary circumstances.

Anyone at DPC would get this same level of caring and concern if needed.

It may be a long while before I will be taking pictures again but I will make contributions in other ways when I can.

Thanks again for everything. You are The Best!!

Steve, I read what you said in the other thread, wow what a long strange trip you had, Extreme bummer about your camera gear, which is why I assume you say it will be a long while before you take photos again. I reckon someone here would be willing to give or at very least loan you a camera to keep you in the game?

Good to hear you made it out of there with nothing more than a scruff on your chin.

OOops. I don't really frequent the General discussion forums, so I missed this.

For those who are just checking this thread, here's the thread with the complete story.

I was glad to hear you were found safe Steve - true answer to prayer. I look forward to seeing you again (and maybe doing some hiking/photo shooting as well).
