Steve,
I've watched your work and hoped you'd be able to come with to our GTG. I've felt that you were one of our locals. I'm so glad to hear that you're back and okay. We've been blessed today.
Becky

I've been quietly following this thread, hoping for the best. Very glad that's what we got at the end of this story. |

Ya know, Amber, that's not a bad idea.
From an earlier entry of mine: A Good Nature Photographer is Hard to Find .
Okay, we found him, let's put him to work. Let's let Steve organize a Great Big Bash in Mesa, AZ. Hey, I'd come!
Beyond that, as everyone else has said in their own words: isn't it wonderful how many people worked together to orchestrate this search.
Welcome home, Steve. I expect you know by now that we missed you.

Welcome back STEVE!! The rest of this month will be much more enjoyable.
Great work to all who did all that legwork! I have sent this off to my family and friends to read the thread, so that they know there is always good in this world somewhere.

WOW!
I haven't posted much to forums here in ages. Nevertheless I've found myself checking in on this thread every couple of days.
Sometimes things have a way of working themselves out.
I'm glad this chain of events has ended so happily.

What LoudDog said... :-)
Seriously though, my deepest heartfelt thanks to everyone that helped to post flyers and get the word out about Steve, make web sites, post on missing sites, gather information, etc; we couldn't have done it on our own.
This is one internet community I am truly honored to be a part of. Thank you to everyone that prayed with us...
To Steve's family - Congratulations on Steve being brought home safely. I can only imagine the relief that you are feeling.
Tonight, I will sleep well at peace knowing my dear friend is safe and healthy. |

I read this from day one and I was hoping he would get back safely. I hope we'll get to know the details if he doesn't mind.
So, now that you're back, you can post in the landscape learning thread again :D |

Toocool called me at work earlier to tell me the news. I have been anxiously awaiting all night to get home and see the thread for myself! It is so freakin' awesome to hear this. Thank God!
...but, I don't know now what I'm going to fill the slot of time I've spent checking the thread everyday :-( ;-P
...(in my best Ricky Ricardo voice) "Steve...you got some 'splaining to do!" :-)
Welcome back Steve! Don't ever doubt that there are a lot of people that care about ya man :-) |

As yakatme said earlier, I had been following, but being in Florida didn't want to muddy up the thread with stuff that wasn't needed. Prayers were still said, just didn't voice it to DPC.
Am glad to see a happy ending... Steve, glad you are okay.
Welcome Home. :) |
