...how does it show in your work?

Too arcane?

Taking the Meyers-Briggs is easy and it's fun to see if you agree with the assessment.

There are a few free Web-sites offering the test.

I was "diagnosed" as an ESTJ. Go figure :P

I've tested as ESTJ, ISTJ, and ENTJ at different times. Most strongly ESTJ. How it affects my photography? I like order. I are an engineer by training.

I'm an INFJ.

I think it shows in the solitary subject matter of my photos, and my reluctnace to mix with a crowd to get shots.

I find I'm nervous about offending people who might not want their picture taken.

INTP - Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Perceiving (The Thinker)

"INTPs live in the world of theoretical possibilities. They see everything in terms of how it could be improved, or what it could be turned into. They live primarily inside their own minds, having the ability to analyze difficult problems, identify patterns, and come up with logical explanations."

Hmmmm... Now how does it show up in my photography? I make lists of ideas before I shoot and if I shoot crap I bludge myself about it. lol

I'm good at seeing where others (and myself) can improve.

INTPs make for great architects. Bah! I guess I am on the opposite side of the spectrum ;)

What I wanted to be when I "grew up". Ended up as a Programmer, but blew out the wrist and have been "figuring things out" since then. HA!

Hrm, I'm an INTP too. I'm starting to think I'm just another INTP in the crowd. Hrm

"A major concern for INTPs is the haunting sense of impending failure. They spend considerable time second-guessing themselves. The open-endedness (from Perceiving) conjoined with the need for competence (NT) is expressed in a sense that one's conclusion may well be met by an equally plausible alternative solution, and that, after all, one may very well have overlooked some critical bit of data. An INTP arguing a point may very well be trying to convince himself as much as his opposition."

I guess that explains why I dont expect much from my latest challenge entries and most of my photography. I always see other people's photographs as better than mine. It's hard to see my stuff as being any good.

Now I'm depressed!

Actually INTPs are rare in the world compare to the other 7. Something like 4% of the world.

I'm grappling with adult ADD also.

It's a pain in the ass sometimes, isn't it?

Self-diagnosed but I probably was as a lad too. My teachers probably hated me cause I broke every rule, kind of like DPChallenge. I have to get up and walk around my office about once an hour or I'll go nuts.

I've known mine since highschool, so it was a matter of googling INTP, but if you've never taken it I'm no help. It's been a while since I searched for a free online test.

INFP

INFPs never seem to lose their sense of wonder. One might say they see life through rose-colored glasses. It's as though they live at the edge of a looking-glass world where mundane objects come to life, where flora and fauna take on near-human qualities.

Yep, *mundane* describes my photography perfectly:))

I'm an ISTJ. It means I like to photograph my cats.
