I gave this pic a minimum estimate of 5.5.. If this goes down any more.. I'm going to hold my breath till I go Blue..

man my score is dropping fast. its went from 5.63 to 5.38 in a few hours. i was happy with my 5.6 now im getting angrier and angrier with each update. lol.

I vote that the SC add a point to everyones score just to make us all feel better, and avoid potential riots.

Wow. My score dropped from 6.9 after 15 votes to 6.1 after 35.

I'd heard of rapid drops before, but never experienced it.

Still a personal best by far, though! :)

my score looks like a dog humping someones leg, Up and Down Up and Down. But it hasn't gone back to where it was lastnight. Dog must be getting tired.

Yeah I second that rapid drop.

6.7 w/14 votes lastnight to 4.9 w/33 this morn. OUCH. Its rebounded a little.

So how much do you people vote down for lack of orginality?

Even if its a picture that is put together pretty well, but youve already gone through 6 pictures with the same theme, do you drop it a couple points?

not so much drop a point but give the other photos that are more original or in this case different from the rest an extra point for being unique. Id say the scores I gave to all the photos of skin was an overall avg 6.5 - 7.5 , a couple of those stood out amoungst the others, at least in my eyes.

Harsh, probably. But this is my voting atleast:

An average shot, that is well composed with good lighting and all will get 5. For the the leaf pictures for example- if it stands out among all the other leaf shots i'll probably give it a 5, the others that are less composed and etc, 4s, ones that just "suck" and still a leaf 3 - cause not only is it unoriginal, but poorly done.

6s go to orginal shots done well, but dont even have to be perfect.

7s and above go to what i think will be the top 10, i give very few 9s and 10s. Knowing that ribbons get mid 7s.

a 10, is an image that is like non other in the entire challenge.
Generally.

However, if a picture is amazing, but still of a leaf. I will rate it high.

I went from 6.1 this morning to 5.1 as of right now. I've never had this big of a drop before, with so little votes.
