Yes. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'll let others decide when. I'll keep watching this thread and I hope the GTG materializes this time.

I can do Orlando in about 2 1/2 hours, on a day with no kids / clients - when are you thinking - and where?

I was thinking sometime in August. My only bad weekend is August 19th.

Is anyone up for a GTG at one of the Disney parks? Other than that I am open for suggestions.

Coming from Miami, it'll be a 4 1/2 hour drive for me. Therefore, I'm not familiar enough with the area to suggest a place for a GTG. If it is at one of the theme parks, then my first thought would be Epcot Center.

Btw...I was driving back from the Smokey Mountains and stopped in Orlando for the night when Tropical Storm Alberto was on the way. The following morning I wanted to go to Epcot for the last day of some kind of gardening and/or flower show that they had been doing for a month. I was very disappointed to have to missed the last day of it.

Anyway, Epcot seems to be as good as a place that I can think of for photo ops.

Yes, EPCOT is a great photo place. I'm up for that!

It's still hotter than the hubs of hell in August...Shecoya's idea of sept or oct would probably be better and not as many tourists...

I could probably do this one, being right in Orlando and all...but August isn't good, since baby #2 is due August 8th...

(never have seen the full word--GTG is get-together, right...? Or good to go?)

Yes. Get-together.

It sounds like the fall might be a good time. Summer is too hot here. Someone mentioned going to EPCOT which got me thinking that maybe we could make a weekend of it. Maybe get group rates at the Disney campground and then hit some places in that area including EPCOT. Thoughts?

LOL...I was just there last weekend and yesterday. Found that the Harry P. Leu botanical gardens is a great place to explore and it is only $5 to get in. Might be an idea if Disney is too expensive for some. I will keep an eye on this thread and depending on dates and finances I would be all for it!

Before noon on Mondays, it's free admission to Leu Gardens, but the Leu House Museum is closed for July.
