If anyone has a bit of spare time, could you please have a butchers at my website and let me know what you think. Since it is a work in progress, any advice / suggestions would be readily recieved.

very clean and simple, i like it a lot
it remindes me a bit on my webgallery :-)
i would like to see more of your photos on that

PS: oh, yes remove the visible hit counter it's obsolete and it looks akward on photo gallery web pages, just my opinion

| I like the simplicity of it. A nice touch that you could add is to add a rollover image to the image link for opening the individual galleries (maybe just change the font color or add a slight outer glow on the rollover image text?). Also a rollover effect on the text links on your frontpage would be nice too. That's pretty much my main suggestion(s), all in all you have a nice, clean and easy to navigate page. |

| Just opened it for viewing...the leopard image is gorgeous, however, does it need to be 260k? Might load a little slow for some users, especially considering it's your home page. Just a thought. |

I love the format once you get inside the galleries, very nice. Your photos are beautiful. I don't like how you have the gallery names printed on the photos. Maybe if you had it printed below the photos but still made the photos (and the text) clickable? Just a thought.

My first question is: What are you trying to accomplish with your site?
The photos are great, but they do seem a little repetitive. Again, I'm not sure what you're going for, so that might be a little unfounded.
Also, I see from your site that your niche is landscapes, macro floral shots and wildlife. As you probably have seen from other photographers who do this type of photography, it's important to find a 'niche within a niche'. I would try to stretch your abilities to get something no one else has seen, this might even be a different angle or view of something very common.
Granted you don't want to get too close to some of the wildlife to get those angles.
I would suggest studying different bodies of work. One good resource for that is Nikon's 'Legends behind the Lens'.

As a web designer, I can get pretty picky about details, appearance, etc. But overall, the site is very simple and easy to navigate. If you're trying to sell prints, you might want to think about a possible redesign...some of the overly simplistic elements could be overhauled to make it look a little more professional. But as a simple, straight-forward gallery, it's great.
