I've always wanted to capture a morning sunset with fog but i'm never that thrilled to wake up that early, so instead I decided to make my own fog. what do you guys think of the results, too fake?

I kinda wanted a eerie feel to it too.

The colors look fake and overdone. To get that eerie feeling you'll have to play with curves and contrast and possible grunge it up a bit. The fog seems ok, but too little. Maybe take a photo of some smoke and create fog using that.

i agree with ignite, also you may want to try turning around 180deg and shooting sunrises in the morning. lol

I was trying to get something achieve a similar effect yesterday but this was as close as i was able to get.

the kinda fog that i had in mind was the one that looks like a low flying cloud, i really like how it looks but its hard to know when it will be that dense, sometimes the fog out here is way thick..and i dont feel like camping out to get a shot that i probably wont like very much in a place thats an hour away :(

i'll redo the pic later and see if i can get a more neutral tone
