Just suppose you are confronted with that.
Last thoughts? Statement to make? Message(s) to pass on?

I am not wanting to dig into your deepest thoughts, and not asking anyone to put them on record here, but have you ever REALLY considered what you would say or do? It really is a sobering thing to experience and may forever change what really is important in your life. It was for me.

Just something to think about....

AT this very moment in time? Right now? Someone said I had one minute to live? I would kiss my kids, hug my husband, call Melissa and then say, "THANK YOU, FINALLY IT IS OVER!!!! WHAT TOOK SO LONG????"

I was in a really bad car accident about 20 years ago. While I don't remember the impact itself I clearly remember my last thought was that I wasn't going to be able to see my son graduate high school (he was 12 at the time).

You cant really do much in a minute. Better to have lived a fulfilling life prior to that question. Treat life like you could always die within the next minute. Always tell people you love them, never leave a conversation angry, try not to do anything you'll regret, and quit worrying about what may never happen. If you live a life worth remembering now then you wont need that minute to make up for it.

I'd probably burn my appartement so my x wouldn't get all my stuff... the insurance money would at least go to my family :)

Thank God for allowing me to live as long as He did with my most perfect and loving wife. If I died today I'd leave this earth with a better life lived than most people 3 times my age. Sure, there have been road blocks in the way but all can be overcome when you've been blessed to have shared the times with someone like I have.

Glad to see you made it past that minute Brad.

Let the people that are important to me know that I love them.

Order a Canon 1Ds MKII, with a bunch of lenses. Of course I won't get to use it, but the feeling.... ;-)

Seriously, I would pray to God and ask for forgiveness.

I would try to compose my spirit and my thoughts that I might exit gracefully.

R.

...A sense o'er all my soul imprest
That I am weak, yet not unblest,
Since in me, round me, every where
Eternal strength and Wisdom are.

gosh this is the longest minute of my life! hurry up already the suspense is killing me!

I don't imagine I could do much in a minute that would make much difference.

I too would compose myself, pray, and get excited for the second part of my life to begin....

Me too actually...

Well, laying in the emergency room, unable to call anyone, defibrillator patches stuck on me and hearing the nurse telling someone "this is a good one", (as in a bad one) has a way of putting things in perspective in one's life as you lay there, then, if that wasn't enough, go through it again, 4 days later.

auw. even with a fast car I couldn't make it..

edit:
what would I really do? you're never sure, but if it's up to me, I'd give my hubby a MAJOR hug, tell him I love him very much, grab my camera-bag and leave. the two things in life I love most, will be in the last minute of my life. how poetic..
