Here is what I get (w/ Adobe Photoshop CS with Camera RAW 2.4):

Here is what I want:

What do I need to get that?

I feel a big "I'm stoopid" moment coming on...

Actually not an "I'm stoopid" moment. I had this same problem. It is a Nikon plugin interfering with Photoshop CS.

Go here:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\ Photoshop CS\Plug-Ins\Adobe
Photoshop Only\File Formats

and rename Nikon NEF Plugin LE.8Bi, Nikon NEF Plugin.8Bi,
and Nikon YCC TIFF.8BI the extensions (8bi part) to .old

That should work. Let me know

LOL - First of all you need 4 boats.

- The 2nd photo seems to be a fresh water lake - your first photo is at the sea, thus when you found the 4 boats, paint them green, move away from the sea and find a fresh water dam/lake, put the green painted boats (make sure paint is dry) in the pattern as shown in 2nd photo - shoot away;-)))

LOL - Don't realy know what you want to know.

You rock AWright418 !!! I have been trying to solve this for a few days now. I can't believe I have been opening my RAW files with the Nikon plug-in this whole time. I might have well been shooting jpegs...

Is there a plug in I need for PS CS to open my RAW images?

Am I missing something here?

I'm glad it worked. I was VERY frustrated with the same problem. I gotta say I love Nikon cameras but I'm not sold on their software. :) They need to address this problem. I would hate to think they are forcing their software onto Photoshop. As far as rex's problem... this is a Nikon only issue as far as I know.
