I've now been wasting brain cells on this... no luck.
Is it possible that there is white text on the white background? If so, does anyone know how you would see that?

alright i'm done messing with it
I'm thinking steganography may be involved here and/or digital signal processing...which basically entails changing a bit of information here or there without affecting the pixels in an image...now normally this would be done to a 'normal' image, not an all-white one...I'm 95% sure that every pixel in that image is in fact 100% white -- so I'm not sure how there could be information encoded in it.
I also thought WN may have just been a play on words...in my searching WordNet came up a lot along with steganography. Then I learned some on linguistic steganography -- which is basically a play on words or synonymous paraphrasing -- such as using synonyms and 'disguising' information that way. So I searched through the original file for all kinds of synonyms for latitude or longitude...I came up with nothing.

I haven't had much time to mess with it today since I was busy with my own devious cache hide, but I did learn from a fellow cacher that the clue does reside within the image...
Much work to do... :) |

I printed it out, took a pic of it under ultra-violent light (my own invention) and an image does seem to appear but I can't quite make it out...

Just out of curiousity, what are these coordinates supposed to look like if and when they are found?

Well if you apply a few different filters to the image, you get something like this:
The coordinates of the exact center of the image are:
x: 4.193
y: 2.197
Not sure if this helps or means anything at all.

Yoink -- that's what I was afraid of! :)
The coordinates will look something like: N40 36.050 W080 40.883
I just made those up, and don't know where that would put you, but that's the format they'd be in. Apparently this will take some sort of special software to decipher, from what I've heard today. It's not a matter of interpreting something in the EXIF or anything like that. And from what I gather, whatever is in there is only part of the clue!

I opened it up in note pad and looked at the binary data. Noting there out of the way. It does say it was produced with PS E2.0 and the date. There are a few hyperlinks in the header. One is a .ns file if you click on the hyperlink it ask you to download a 6.+mb file. I did not download it so I don't know what it is.

| Nope... haven't had time to mess with it lately. But from what I've learned, there is a hidden message within the image itself somewhere. Just need to find the right software to decode it, perhaps with something linked previously in this thread! |
