Do any of those fields have data in them?

I don't think it's anything embedded in the file...like I said, I went through it with a hex editor...it is possible that I missed something, but chances are we're looking too far into that image IMO.

The date and time don't make any coordinates in the area it's suppose to be??

Alan,

Assuming it's in the park at the listed coordinates, are there hiking trails there? Perhaps a trail with white blazes?

I have tried from the inside using Steganography Tools

Steganography is hiding information in an image.

I need a password so I tried YemonYime (from the site where the image resides), whitenoise and geocache with no luck.

The first link gets you to the tools if any one else wants to take a stab from the inside.

I will keep trying.

could it be the file name itself? The WN letters correspond to ascii characters 87 and 78. Grasping at straws, but trying to look for what's hidden in plain site.

It's in Mingo Park, but others have found the coordinates prior to embarking.

Do you know the approximate coordinates? Give us some idea of what we're looking for? (cheating, I know!)

where do you get the original link to the original file? Is there a written description of the 'mission' or anything?

hrmm I found the original page and signed up even though I don't have a GPS...

Anyway...how many total numbers do I need?

Maybe the Lat/Longe are the date the image was created?

....about all I can think of.

I think I cracked it. The hidden data says the image is a close-up of a residence at 1600 PA Ave in DC.
