I'm wondering if any of you know of a good book (preferably a book, though a website would be good start) that is a good reference for different kinds of digital post processing techniques? I'd really love to learn more about advanced functionalities of photoshop and how to use them to create mood and style in a photo.

Try the Photoshop (edition like 7, CS, etc) Bible. They are huge but they have everything you could possibly want to know about PS.

Here's a book that's worth getting. I have the CS edition of the book, and found it quite worthwhile.
This one is well-thought of, but I have no personal experience with it.
I think either of the above would be a great investment.

I'm looking for books still, so can't recommend any at the moment... but I do have a bunch of links to PS tips/tutorials/etc. Some may be slightly outdated, but I just checked them all, they still work, and most of the basics will be the same. :)

I second kirbic's recommendation. I'm a newbie to this site and wanted a Photoshop book to help me out. I just bought the CS version and love it. Very helpful.

Thanks a bunch for the book ideas, I'm going to have to pick on of those up when I get home. For now I think I'll start on all those links :)
