Do you guys have the brackets posted somewhere for this contest?
04/12/2006 12:09:48 PM · #178
Terry, is there anyway to retroactively drop from the tourney and let your opponent through to the next round? I am feeling so uninspired that I didn't shoot last week and so would like to not take up a slot that another could use for better purpose.
Brennan.

No way I can even represent, I have no image in any challenge up,so I have already lost, if you have submitted Erick I would like it if you went on if that was possible.

Sorry, Erick, but it is the two open challenges that count for this contest, unless I am mistaken!

So, whomever either one of you face will get a bye, I believe.

Congratulations Sandy, though you only beat me .028, may have well been 2.8 or more. LOL Could not think of a better person to lose to, if I had to lose! Good luck in candid/chrome!

Jacque

Congratulations on your advancement, but honestly do think Sandy and I probably had the closest finish, as in .028 difference.

Karmat, scoring over 6 and losing, wow, that HAS to be the toughest loss here, even worse than mine - though mine was closer, was a LOT farther down the scoreboard, congratulations to Soup and you for great entries!!

thanks !

i am not going to come anywhere near that score in chrome though ;}

the ribbon kind of makes up for that however. and i kind of like my chrome entries concept - but execution was limited to only a few minutes...

You can add Melethia to the upset winners list again next week.

what's up? No shot? Or lack of inspiration?

It looks like a matchup of epic proportions in Game #43, Rikki vs. Riggs. During this tournament's storied history, this must be the first time that Blue ribbon winners have matched up in the second round.

good luck :)

I didn't provide for that in the rules, and since there are cash prizes involved I don't want to change the rules mid-stream, so I don't think I can really do that.

If you didn't enter for week 2 the effect will be that you will forfeit to Judi and she will advance to round 3 automatically. Since you didn't enter, she has a right to that free advance and it wouldn't be appropriate for me to take it away from her.

You know I didn't even realize that Mark ;) Wow! Blue on Blue! So it'll be either Candid or Chrome right? Oh dear.

Where are you at Riggs? Still in the stratosphere with your score?
04/12/2006 07:45:04 PM · #196
I'd like to sell ring side seats. Or at least PPV. :)
04/12/2006 08:00:08 PM · #197
I'm not upset! Oh, wait, i'm not a "winner" either!
j/k! ;-)

Congrats to my opponent Artyste!!!!

I will now take a back seat and help coach Glen...
....on smack-talk. (Lord knows I can't help him with photography or smack-talk, but I thought I'd put my efforts where they could do the least damage.....)

Ummm, huh? Did you not enter anything in Chrome or Candid??

I'm in Chrome and am beating my statistical average but still not near the stratospheric scores you're used to.

And hey, I'm an upset winner. There's a novel concept... Not that I'm upset about being a "winner". Freak accidents occur every now and then... :-)

Incidentally, not counting the two people who didn't enter photos, the average score received by the 62 participants in the first round by MS Tournament participants was 5.755... the average of your "Average Votes Received" stats overall are 5.514. The average vote received by all participants in these two challenges was 5.143.

Great work!
