Just thought I'd point that out. Seems some hadn't noticed. :)

I know its silly, but I realized as a kid that it was a pronouncable word backward, so it became a nickname.

Just thought I'd share.

What's your nickname? How does it or does it relate to your DPC-name?

I never noticed that cindi. Nice that you pointed it out.

Funny I'd never tried to pronounce idnic till just now.

My nickname is sir_bazz because it's a helluva lot easier to pronounce than Garry Vogelsang. :)

cheers,
bazz.

funny you should post this. I figured out about a week ago that your name was probably cindi. :?

mine is karmat -- first name and middle initial. I used to go by amrak which is my name backwards. and now, if i turn my user name backwards it is tamrak (tamrac, like my camera bag. ) :)

I never really had a nickname growing up....at least nothing said to my face. lol

ShutterPug came about as a combo thingy. I first bought a pug puppy in 1999 - always wanted one. That got me involved in rescue work - and I got nicknamed "puggers" as I always had so many at my house. I took the pics of not only my pug, but the rescues and everyone commented how my pics were better then the norm, thus I got encourgaged to dive into photography. When I joined DPC I first signed up as Puggers, but soon adopted ShutterPug (a combo of the two things I love most)

banmorn=robmann=mornings should be banned (unless there's decent sunrise, of course).

Yeah cindi_idnic, I had noticed that! since back when you helped me by recommending a paper backdrop for my home studio :)

Funny (to me anyway) story: a few years ago my wife and I were shopping for acreage and there was a place on Ssylyab road. I looked at that and recognized almost immediately that it was "Bayliss" spelled backwards. (The Baylisses are prominent real estate people around here). I actually liked the parcel but Brenda REFUSED to live on Ssilyab Road!

Another one: we pulled into the drive-thru at the bank awhile back and noticed a car with the license plate "JK MNOP"... asked the girl at the window if Noel was there. "She's in the back" she told me. I said to tell her that I like her license plates!

Okay, ya got me... JKMNOP = Noel? :S

Assuming you are not being sarcastic -- there was no "L" between the k and m. :)

My last name is Nohe, rhymes with "snowy". My brother has the license place ABCD FG. Someone asked him if his nickname was Skippy.

My oldest brother's name was Christopher. He used to have the licence tag XOPHR. X=Christ (as in Xmas) OPHR=the rest of his first name, minus the E (so there was "no e"). He fit his entire name into 5 letters.
