C'mon. Post 'em if ya got 'em.

I spotted this one while on a boat in the Silver river, had seconds to try to find correct exposure, focus and shoot before it was over the trees and was soooooo close....

Same day I got this darling stork, atleast it is in focus, but I feel like it needs more neck to have real impact.

I saw this bald eagle flying over the water towards me while I was eating breakfast -- I was just able to get the camera out and started up before it flew past the roofline.

I shot this on my first day out with my new 1.7x teleconverter which I put on my 70-200.

Looks like your subject didn't appreciate the new level of intrusiveness : )

I watched the hummingbird buzz the redtail - - brave little thing is no more.

I watched this great blue heron catch and eat the carp it has in its mouth

sorry but I just had to post this little guy. the happiest duck I have ever shot.. not technically a good shot but I love his expression

Almost missed this hawk completely when he snuck up behind me while I was waiting for my camera to finish processing my last shots.

This one happened so fast that I couldn't get a good angle, but still kind of neat:

My good stuff is on the LaCie drive and I'm too tired to fire it up so this will have to do tonight :)

Actually, I'm surprised that he allowed me to maintain such close proximity. I was only about 5 feet from him and shooting through a wire enclosure. I used the telephoto while pressing the lens hood right up against the wires, which were about 3/4 inch diamter holes.

I used to have the old version with the chlorine tablets in the basket underneath the float. This updated model looks a lot more realistic.

lol

Edited for typo

Just missed full frame! Interesting thing about this photo is that I was able to get close because if you look at the legs of the Eagle you will see that it has fishing line wrapped around both legs. I did not notice it until I processed the photo. I called the Fish & Wildlife and they sent a crew out to see if they could capture but I never heard back from them. Hope he made it.
