But I uploaded it when se got home today and I was actually really impressed with the colors since it is kind of cloudy today.

Note to self, "never try to shoot a blue bird with dog and daughter along" lol.

I tried to get to the other side of of the tree, the dog spotted it and started barking lol.

Birds are a terrific challenge. But sometimes you get lucky and they land right next to you. I was taking some photos yesterday of some construction at my golf club for a newsletter and spotted a Mockingbird right next to me. Of course I don't think Mockingbirds get called shy very often.

oh wow that's a beautiful shot Rich! I got some shots of a crane at the park this morning too. Made me with I had a 200mm lens lol because even after cropping it wasn't close enough. This is what I got after cropping quite a bit. not that great either lol.

as you can see he's very blurry. You know what's really funny, whenever I've gone to the park alone I never see any of these guys. Always see them when I've got the dog or the munchkin. Just isn't right!

That's not a crane, it's a great egret. :)

Try being nearly attacked by this thing. It couldnt fly very well in the woods because it was so large. It just started flapping its wings at me till it could find a better space to take off.

There are so many great shots!!!! I wish I could get shots as clear as some of you! I guess I don't shoot at a high enough speed.

These are the only ones I have in my portfolio at the time, but some of my faves.
