I played around with some incense last night, my first time shooting specifically smoke:
Any thoughts? Comments? Advice?
I had a blast shooting these and was planning on using one of them for duotones...but I came up with something cooler. Anywho...let me know what you think, and how cool my Coolpix 950 is, lol.

Just the on-camera flash on my beast of a photo taker, lol....this thing doesn't have any hot-shoes for fancy flashes. Although, the one built in is pretty powerful....I must admit.

Really, in all my failed attempts at shooting smoke, I've never thought to turn the damn on board flash on... |

The third one is my favorite.
Reminds me of a tastefully done nude. Very sensual; I guess you call it that. :-) |

Great shots! I like all of 'em :)
I know what you mean about powerful flash lol; the flash on my 5200 is nuts. Maybe it's a Nikon thing.

these are very cool! I was looking at mk's too.....I think I need to try this!
My oldest kid will probably have a field day with mom buring incense....I'll tell him I've been 'taking the pot' LOL
for any those of you that remember when Rosie O'Donell would talk about her dad on her show...that's how he would say it.."Have you been taking the pot?") |
