This is totally a random question, but while sitting here using my laptop. I remembered how I watch too much CSI and Forensic Files. I told my husband "You know how they go through peoples computer histories for searches etc. to prove they murdered someone?" On recent shows we've watched, there were killers who searched on their computer for "how to kill someone and not get caught, etc" Duh. Anyways, today while trying to see if I could figure out why one of our cats pee's on my rugs occasionally, lol I told my husband if he ever ended up murdered, the police wouldn't blame me, but they would wonder why I had a search named "female cat urine heat".

Edited to say: Yes, I realize I have too much time on my hands.

So, now to the question part. What is the strangest search you can currently find in your search history? Try to keep it at least as clean as "female cat urine heat", lol.

Maybe I should look up "How to get husband to pick up dirty clothes?"
How come I never thought of that before?

I always erase my tracks with hard disk wipes (they rewrite the tracks until it's not recoverable).

It's because I have an interest in handguns, bullets and certain rifles, and my internet searches includes lots of names and gun models - definately not something I wish to be associated with!

Despite my raunchy demeanor (lol) my search history is pretty lame ... a few for photography contests, searched for my name a few times and my web site ... I know... boring... but most of my net time is spent on DPC.

A few of my more novel recent searches (in no particular order):
watching whippets shiver

quantitative confirmation of exactly how much of a loser you are.

Bring a dead stiff squirrel and get in free.

I'm sure that I've done more interesting searches lately, but these are the only ones that came to mind offhand. It's people like me that find Amazon's Statistically Improbable Phrases helpful.

It's called "going postal"; there were a couple incidents a few years ago where unjappy post office employees (former employees, fired? I forget) came to work with guns and opened fire on fellow employees; the phrase became iconic for disgruntled employees shooting up their (usually former) workplaces. Definitely "American".

That's fine if they search YOUR computer, but what if they were to search the records of your ISP and their records for activity under your account(s)?

Ah thats the joy of not living in USA. AFAIK it's the only country where isp's have to give out info if asked by the Police, and the law only came into place a couple of years ago I think. In England the info is safe because of the data protection act. It makes it very hard to get at, a high court order is required.
