I decided not to enter this into the Abstracts challenge, as it just isn't strong enough in the traditional abstract definition (lines, shapes, that sort of thing.. the colours it has!) and contains a bit more noise than DPCers like. When/if I start entering challenges again, I'd like to come back with something I feel fits the challenge description a bit better... although I really do like this one, personally. I actually ended up sharpening it up to get more texture out of it, which is usually the opposite of what I want with this kind of photo. It's a motion-blurred abstract of my favourite pair of rainbow socks. Hooray for socks!

Any comments or critiques? I'd really appreciate feedback on this one. It was a last minute shot that I pulled with nary a moment to spare.

Wow.. none, eh? I guess that is a comment all in itself.

Julia, it is hard to comment on abstracts... but I like it. pleasing combination of colors, and very light and fluffy texture (Hooray for socks!:))
If you insist on a critique, I think it is a litte too sharp in the left bottom corner, attract unnecessary attention of a viewer there, trying to guess what the heck it is... and I see a bit of olor noise in the middle on the yellow strip... Anyway, nice shot! I can see it on a wall, but it has to be REALLY BIG for the right impact.
