My connection is so slow I just don't have a hope in hell of getting through them all. I'm only about half way and that has taken me many hours.

I made up for someone. I didn't enter and voted on them all. Gave out pretty high scores too so can't blame the low ones on me. ;) Thought there were some great photos in the challenge.

You know, I didn't even think about dial-up folks. sorry about that. ;-)
I remember what a pain that was when I visited my folks. It was pure torture just trying to view the homepage let alone scroll through a challenge of 800+ photos.

gotta love comments with phrases like "element x needs to be y"... it's a photo... it's art. there are very few "needs" and "musts" unless you are honest and follow that up with "for me to likey and give heap big 10 click..."

At 800+ entries, the average number of votes is currently sitting at an abnormally low percentage of the total number of submitters(about 440). Given that most voters also submit to the challenge they vote on this implies that the average voter evaluated just over 1/2 the total images in the challenge.
Can't blame them for that! That is a bunch of pictures.
I wonder what effects, if any, from that will be reflected in the inevitable raft of complaints that will follow the close of voting tonight. :)

Shame I didn't think to have mine validated, as I think some suspect one
of the major components was over-edited. (which it wasn't - little editing really)
The original, unedited version will surface after the challenge if anyone cares.

I am happy that as of now I have gotten my highest score on dpc, even if I dont ribbon.
(tho I am sorta hoping on the outside chance maybe I might....)

Given your past performance you are certain to be at or near the top. This challenge will be a BIG feather in the cap of ribbon winners and high finishers.
