Create an image focusing on the attributes of a Hostess Twinkie.

-If the powers that be feel a Twinkie is not available worldwide then perhaps the object could be an apple, lightbulb, telephone, etc. Idea is to pick one object and have everyone use it.

I rather like the Twinkie idea. I imagine it would create some facinating entries.

A "telephone" challenge might be fun.

We actually HAD an "Apple" challenge not that long ago, and some interesting entries. Ditto the Pumpkin-Carving 48-hr challenge at halloween. I'd love to see a challenge based on something "silly" like a Twinkie.

Sounds to me like someone is either starting a diet or has the munchies! And now, thanks to you, I'm craving the little buggers. :-)

If the suggester is willing to ship a Twinkie to everyone outside the US,... ;o) Seriously, we do sometimes have challenges where the subject is an everyday object, and theyre usually pretty fun!

What if the challenge was a bit more general like "Tasty Cake" or whatever your area/regional equivalent is of a minature cake (twinkie, tastycake, hostess ding dong).

I only have a vague idea of what a twinkie is - it seems to be branded into the American psyche in a way some of us non-Americans might not quite understand or appreciate. As for the other two, I'm not sure whether they are foodstuffs or rude words!

The concept sounds good, but please make sure it's tweaked to be internationally accessable! :)

twinkie - a minature sponge cake with a cream filling

How about any mass produced, sold in a common food store, long shelf life, cream filled, plastic sealed sweet pastry.

That will take care of everywhere in the world (that has mass produced food)

Could be interesting...

yeah, sure can, but I think it's a bit weird to ship some Twinkies for a challenge.
sorry, not gonna happen ;)

that's the only positive thing I could get out of it. But I don't think they'll still taste good after laying for 2 hours in a lightbox with big bulbs on it. or they are so chamical they can even handle that :P

I second the vote for the phone challenge....Or even Pay Phone Challenge...Most countries have them, I think, and yet they are different everywhere, so it wouldn't get boring for the voters :))

the only thing I know of that can hurt a twinkie is the solar death ray...
Dead Twinkie
