Hey Guys,
Just upgraded from a Fuji s5000 to an Olympus E-300. Took some pictures of my girlfriend for her modeling portfolio and was suitably impressed with my results.
Just really wanted you guys' opinions on them. Things I could do better, etc.
Photos are as follows..

I like your soft lighting, but kinda wish you had a bit more light on the face. Maybe a reflector opposite the light?

I like the photos a lot but I'm finding them a little too dark! I would prefer to see a little more light on her! |

I would have liked a little extra light however I wanted the black background and was shooting onto a blue surface and didn't want to do too much post-processing to remove the background. Possibly yes like idnic said a reflector on the opposite side wouldn't have changed the image too much but shed a little extra light on the right. |

I like them except for the fact that they are too dark. |

Yeah, like others have said, they are too dark. In none of them can I really see her well. I wouldn't abandon the shadowy feel, just bump up the ligting a little.

3. This has great potential, as I like the pose very much but I feel that she should have pivoted to the right some, to capture at least half of her face in the light. Same exact pose with a 10 degree shift. |
