So long as it doesn't taste like p**s water, it's all good.

I'm particularly fond of North American microbrews, a nice hand pulled English or Scottish or Irish beer, and any good red beer.

Living in Germany I have to say German beer :) We have 1279 breweries here, and it is my life time goal to try at least 20 beers from each brewery before I die. Which could be very soon if I keep this up!

No one in Australia actually drinks Fosters lol It does better internationally than it does locally lol It was very 1980's.

Irish.

Guinness and Kilkenny.

Ahhh....I must admit I don't mind the odd Kilkenny when I go to the pub to treat myself!

Carlsberg from Denmark ROCKS !!
01/04/2006 05:47:38 AM · #24
The problem here is that everyone is talking about "beer" generally and not differentiating between the types of beer such as stout, lager, mild etc. Depends on what type you are drinking as to which is best.

Deffinately "Lager" beer.

I like all sorts - Carlsberg is what I mainly drink as it is a good price in the supermarkets, alternatively, Coors Lite, Hoegarden, Grolsch and LIDL supermarkets do their own premium stuff in bottles which is really nice - Not sure what it is called though!

I love beer (lager)... anything will do!
