hmmm they might not be depends how good ur pic is
edit* I looked at your last challenge pic the quality isnt that great but it may be because you have it overcompressed at only 24kb you could try and compress as near to the 150kb limit as possible and this would possible give you higher votes.

It's an interesting shot but not a superb one, it has a few technical issues so it's falling in the ballpark I expected it too.

I'm currently at an even 5.0. BETTER than my dof. LOL...

Hey, you know what? I am having a HELL of a time sizing my photos. I tried it with compression in export under PSP, and it stays the same size as the raw. Not only that, but it won't allow for exif data saved. So I save it under PSP smartsize at 640 pixels (even at just ONE side), and I get something like a 176kb, give or take. I cannot match the pixels to the kb. So I have to keep going back and lifting the sizing and resizing it till it is 150kb or under without using any compression ratio. They are still looking nice, but some I can make full size and some not.

I think any frame added causes a major problem, even if done before sizing, so I have tried to eliminate using frames at times, and I think the crop has a bit to do with it. Other than that, it is just hit or miss, and I just keep resizing to match the kb, but I cannot match the 640 pixels, and I have tried EVERYTHING I have been told on here and in tutorials. So, whatever. LOL...

My score...don't ask!
My DOF was my highest ever score, and this challenge, well, 4.533 and still dropping.

My Mudder entry i don't expect great things from either. A great way to finish out the year, huh?

There is hope - i got this last night wiht my new tripod:

My Mother the bridge? Mother river? Enter it anyway?

This is the second time I enter a contest here. My goal was to stay above 5. My first entry was a disastrous 4.7.

So far my score for Pattern is 5.4 with 28 votes and 30 views.

Mine did the same thing -- I got up this morning and it was at a 6.2., with two nice comments. Now it's at 5.8.

I take that back, it's now a 5.65. I think that's the biggest drop I've ever seen in ten votes. Those ten votes averaged a 3.8. -- and yet I have a comment that says the shot should be in the top 5. Gonna prove that person wrong for sure.

Started out above a 6, but it's dropping steadily. :(
Was hoping to get above a 6 for the first time ever.

Mine also was around 6.2 when I got up this morning and now is down near 5.8. I saw three 1s occur though, which are ridiculous. Bitter folks who got left out by the outage? No worries, I'm sure it'll even out. Better than my last few entries anyway. :)

Question for Elemmennope (LOL - great nickname): How do you "see" 1s occur? I can't see what people vote on mine.

A little math tells you what the last vote was. An explanation
