This is my newest film, it is untitled and I'd like to leave it open to your own interpretation as always.

Along with 'Chess Wars', this was screened at the school talent show this friday. I thought I'd post it, being Christmas and all, have a good holiday everyone! Especially that deary Pedro Marlinez for hosting it.

Just a hint of "And Joey said "Let there be light!' and there was light..."? It's a nice little fable, Joey. I'd wish there was more consistency of white balance within the flow of the scenes though.

Merry Xmas!

Oh, wow.. That was amazing...the pacing of it, and your cinematography and and.

It reminds me of those fuzzy holiday commercials, except there's no product placement at the end :D

Holy crap, Joey, that absolutely kicks ass! It puts all the other Canadian cinematography I've seen lately to shame. The angles & transitions were a pure joy to soak in. The film lead wonderfully to a magical ending.

The quality is much better than I'd expect from standard gear, bravo for doing such a great job at making do with what you have. It looks absolutely professional to me, but next time hire someone who can do a little less obvious job with the snow, hehe. ;-)

Rock-n-Roll, Joey, keep it up!

Awesomeness.

What are you making these with? As far as hardware and software?

I don't know Joey, I am a huge fan of your photography, but this just didn't really hit me in the right spots. I thought it seemed overposed, and a little rushed. I loved the anticipation it created, and the ending was fantastic. Owe and at the beginning, those double shots of the same setting from different angles, I didn't care for that too much either.

Having said that, what was done here I couldn't of done 10% of, and I am guessing that niether could alot of others. You certainly shine among the stars, and I cant wait to see more of your art. So it wasn't perfect for me, but it was still very good, TY for sharing.

great movie, what made it really stand out was the ICELANDIC music :o)
12/25/2005 01:49:15 PM · #23
i thought the premise was brilliant--and the music just made it that much more. well done doll! i'm sending you a PM of my thoughts on some PP ideas, but just minor stuff.

The genius is in the ideas...the technicals are easy to learn, right? and i believe you are indeed genius...i could use your input now with my own projects...so i really can't wait till we finally get to work together! less than six months till production on the new stuff...do i hear collaboration? :)

That really struck the right note with me. Brilliant stuff, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Joey, that is an AWESOME video!! Your movies are getting better and better. The scenic shots are so great, the acting, the camera angles and the music hits it out of the park! Great job! keep up the good work, it will pay big someday.
